Bullet Train, an upcoming American neo-noir action comedy thriller film directed and written by Zak Olkewicz, is called Bullet Train. Based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle, it was translated into English by KotaroIsaka. Brad Pitt, Joey King and Aaron Taylor-Johnson star in the film. Hiroyuki Sanade, Hiroyuki Sanada (in English), Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock, Sandra Bullock, Logan Lerman and Logan Lerman are all part of the ensemble cast.

Bullet Train will be released in the United States by Sony Pictures Releasing on August 5, 2022.

Bullet Train was initially developed by Antoine Fuqua, who produced it through his Fuqua Films banner. [3] The film was originally meant to be an R-rated violent action film. However, the project became a comedy in the course of development. [4]

In June 2020, Sony Pictures announced that David Leitch had been hired by Sony Pictures to direct the adaptation from the Kotaro-Isaka novel. [3] Brad Pitt was also cast in the film in the same month. [5] Joey King was interested in joining the film’s supporting cast, which was described as “a cameo role”. [6] Andrew Koji was recruited in September.[7] Brian Tyree Henry and Aaron Taylor-Johnson joined the cast in October. [8][9] In November 2020 Zazie Beetz and Masi Oka joined the cast.[11] Logan Lerman and Logan Shannon also joined.[13] Hiroyuki Snada was also added to the cast.[14] Leitch revealed in December that Karen Fukuhara joined and that Jonathan Sela would be serving as cinematographer. [15] In the same month, Bad Bunny joined the cast.[16] Sandra Bullock joined the cast in February of the next year to replace Lady Gaga who was forced to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts. [17]

Bullet Train was produced in Los Angeles in October 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. [18] Filming began on November 16, 2020[19] and was completed in March 2021. [20] According to the film’s stunt coordinator Greg Rementer Pitt did 95 percent of the stunts in the movie. [21]
