BOUTIQUE HOTEL COMPANY LAUNCHES CUSTOM SPARKLING WINE
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., November 1, 2010 – Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants announces the launch of Kimpton Cuvée, a custom sparkling wine created by a collection of Kimpton sommeliers in partnership with Gloria Ferrer Caves, which is available now by the glass or bottle at 54 Kimpton restaurants and lounges nationwide. To celebrate the launch of this Blanc de Noirs, Kimpton restaurants across the country will offer a “Fries and a Flute” promotion from Monday, November 1 – Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Kimpton chefs nationwide will feature a special appetizer to be paired with a flute of Kimpton Cuvée such as:
- Dallas: prosciutto wrapped cheddar, battered and deep fried, served with a spicy avocado sauce, $16, at Central 214
- Philadelphia: shrimp and shrimp hush puppies, $15, at Square 1682
- Scottsdale: parmesan fries and zucchini fries, $13, at Taggia
- Seattle: sweet potato fries served with three dipping sauces, $10, at Sazerac
- Washington, DC: crispy fried oysters, braised rainbow chard and caviar aioli, $19, at Urbana
Kimpton Cuvée is a Blanc de Noirs created in partnership with Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards. It is a pale pink blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which demonstrates fruit flavors of strawberries and black cherries with lively, lush bubbles and a crisp, delicate finish.
